The film revolves around the battle for survival of a live streamer video game as he is forced to sit alone during a zombie outbreak at his apartment in Seoul.

Alive korean movie review. They had a terrific premise to work with but barely scratched the surface. I will start making even more reviews here soon on books anime movies tvshows cds etc. It has a good balance of horror and thrill making it an easy watch.

Its more that the film is built for low expectations and you either accept it or else. Alive is a zombie film directed by Cho Il-hyung in South Korea. Most especially on future KPOP artists album reviews and possibly MV interpretation review.

Almost drawing a parallel to the emotions we feel during this pandemic times. The Korean film attempts to articulate the mental toll a situation like a sudden apocalypse can bring. Well-acted genuinely unsettling and occasionally even funny alive proves the crowded zombie genre still has fresh stories to tell.

Alive is abundantly a typical zombie story but its relatability allows viewers to suspend belief. My Verdict. The character spends portions of his time creating a vlog of his experiences.

It is exactly what you expect yet also manages to have a trick or two up its sleeve. Director Cho arranged the original script of Alone by Hollywood screenwriter Matt Naylor for a Korean film changing the setting to an apartment a common residence in South Korea and the title to Alive But its story lacks plausibility as it does not give details on the zombie outbreak and the two main characters. Hopefully this review builds your curiosity in checking out this awesome Korean Zombie movie.

Alive is the middle-ground of a zombie story in that its bleeding heart emotions are unmistakable and the zombie stuff can be good enough with detailed make-up work and creepy choreography creating some nightmarish extras. The zombies here were much more scarier than the zombies in Train to Busan but I think the zombies gestures were much more realistic in TtB. I heard the movie was the top pick on Netflix and I am honestly surprised but happy nonetheless and I hope that anyone who watches it checks out other amazing Korean movies.

But I was pleasantly surprised with a pretty interesting take on zombie movies. The story was just like any ordinary zombie-movie but this movie had this little pinch of romance friendship and also something metaphorical about the COVID-19 going on nowadays. It brings about the emotions of being desolate very well.

For the most part. This works well enough when Joon-woo is going through an emotional breakdown in response to bad news from the outside world but the entire final act of the movie revolves around a plan that simply doesnt make much sense. The action scenes in ALIVE are technically competent but mostly irrelevant to the premise.

Review Film Alive Industri perfilman Korea Selatan sudah tidak diragukan lagi sebagai industri yang banyak diminati di seluruh dunia. And if you are interested in my content please subscribe to and follow here on my website. Alive is blood-soaked and sinister a gory good time featuring some B-movie thrills.

For the majority of the film the single location works incredibly well for our protagonist as you feel just how claustrophobic it can be and just how powerless. A film set during a zombie apocalypse is nothing new to modern audiences yet Alive manages to put a nice spin on the genre as it revolves around a gamers struggle for survival as he is forced to stay alone at his flat and confront the zombies trying to break in. Starring Yoo Ah-in and Park Shin-hye it is based on Matt Naylors 2019 script Alone who co-adapted his script with Cho.

Dari yang muda mau pun yang sudah tua banyak yang suka menonton film dan drama yang berasal dari negara tersebut seperti Film Alive. ALIVE isnt downright terrible but extremely forgettable. More power to it its unexpected but welcomed.

Going into this film I expected an absolute mess all I had seen was the horrible title. Starring Yoo Ah-in and Park Shin-hye Alive is an entertaining zombie flick that seems tailor-made for the time of coronavirus. Koreas Alive Is a Perfect Zombie Movie for the Coronavirus Era.

When youre looking for something to hold onto its not fun when a movie. Alive is a South Korean film by first time director Il Cho. Read critic reviews You might also like.
